I started getting into fitness around April of 2012, then I started training to compete Muay Thai, boxing and mma about 5 months ago. These pictures are the progress I've made. I've def had some slip ups with my diet but every day is a new one and I never give up.
This is the start of a project for my Annual Halloween party...The theme this year is "Urban Legends"
Advancing cautiously under adverse signals, the driver of 70025 makes slow progress in the thick fog.
Joanne's English Smocking. Yes, I know it isn't Christmas. But she was working on this piece for a course she plans on delivering. My contribution to her craft skills is to do photos for the courses.

Everybody's a bloody critic. I KNEW I shouldn't let the Flicker talk to the duck.
For those in North America with clear skies tonight, this could be the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. The moon will be a problem, but you may be able to see some in the northeast right after dark and before moonrise. It's highly recommended as one of the top cheap date ideas as well.
I've been busy making stars of various sizes. I really do hope my partner likes how this is going. The plan is to set the stars out in a fairly random layout similar to the photo but I need to decide whether to make any more stars. I was thinking perhaps a couple more fairly small ones. What do you think?

Haven't uploaded anything here in a while, so I thought I'd post some of what I do at Welch Forsman Associates. This is a cabin we are currently remodeling on an island on Lake Minnetonka.
Still making progress... rather than fill my stream up with progress shots of the same drawing, I've deleted my previous post.

It's looking more like they're putting in a pool, not replacing the sewer line.
This project began on May 1st, 2021, and with one week before Christmas there is no sign of it being completed before the end of the year as the crew keeps getting pulled off to work other jobs.
Four days ago they ruptured an unmarked gas line. Our buildings had to be evacuated while they fixed it, and until the fumes were cleared inside (someone who was at work had a window open, which let the gas intrude).
Wanted to make Kissy and Jonathan clothes for this month's sewing challenge, but being sick really slowed me down. Still I made them each a new alpaca wig, finished Kissy's nightgown, and made some unexpectedly nice pants for Jonathan :)
Penny Sampler progress this weekend includes: Small diamond paper pieced top border, machine applique Dilly & Little Bird (both still need eyes and French knots added), and crossroads block.
Yes, this is an old picture.
Yes, I've uploaded it before.
But the old version is REALLY BAD.
So I took a look at it again and reprocessed it.
I thought it was kind of crazy how much difference there is between my processing now and my processing just two months ago.
Two days later. Most things are healing quickly. My leg road-rash is nearly gone. I was able to remove the head bandages today. The left ear is still mighty-swollen, and the stitches provide an odd sensation.
We'll see. I've been canceling job interviews because I don't quite think I'm "presentable" at the moment.
