Creative mosaicing (is that a word?) has continued over the last couple of weeks and participants are shaping the design with a steady progress. more
Progress of the artwork can be viewed by the public on Saturday 6 December between 10 am and 12 noon at the Youth Centre.
I used a slow shutter speed and increased the exposure to get a lighter photo for this shallow dof portrait. Rule of thirds.
Linda wondered if I'd finished this quilt yet but, as you can see, I've only just got to the machine quilting. I'm always cautious at this stage, waiting till I'm sure of how to proceed with the design.....geometric or freestyle?, hmmm. I think I've got it nailed now though so I should soon be finished ;-)

August 7th and the stone wall has been completed apart from some maintenance pointing. The wood pile has been relocated along with all the pieces of sand stone left over. The garden area has now all been sown with grass seed with good growth on that which was sown 2 weeks ago. The old iron railings that Dave has carefully extended are fitted & have been painted. The very heavy 550kg concrete ring & cap have been installed over the rain water tank.
Road crew in the process of setting out traffic cones to close off one lane of the highway, diverting the traffic into the two remaining lanes on the left - it caused a traffic slow-down more than a mile reaching the point where the crew was slowly moving forward....
