Grant, in progress.

Joining the many before me who have knit this pattern. I hate feeling like a follower, but I really do like this sweater. Who can resist cables? And a hood?

Pattern: Central Park Hoodie by Heather Lodinsky from Fall 06 Knitscene

Yarn: Valley Yarns Williamstown, color 06

Needles: 4.0mm and 5.0mm Addi circulars

This building was put up back in 1989...22 years ago, in building years...it was still quite "young". I can only imagine the property value went way up as this is right across the street from the Richmond Olympic Oval...and you guessed it...they're building condos...Progress!

Faded are the photos that hang within my mind

Covered in the cobwebs of another day and time

The colors are now faded to tones of black and white

Soon to be replaced with a picture much more bright

Now just another photo in a file full of dreams

Locked away inside no need to dwell on memories

One day I will smile and wipe the dust away

Faded are the photos but the memories clear as day

Time was meant for ticking

Love is meant to last

But time it will stands still

When staring at photos from the past

Although fascinated with the human body, my favourite part of it to draw/paint is the face and a huge part of that love goes into facial expressions and exaggeration.

In my GCSE’s for my final piece I decided to create a painting on the ‘Skull Beneath the Skin’. I wasn’t happy with the outcome of this painting so more recently decided to revisit it and redo it, as I like the concept of it, but not the outcome.

Another pic of tile in the foyer....

Here's a part of last weekend's Binondo: Explore. This is all about people and how I saw them. I really tried to capture each stop and experience. Thanks again to everyone.

My Mom, exhibiting the progress she's made on a friend's requested costume for the Comic Con.

It has been so hot that it's hard to get to good shots. Some were taken in the mid afternoon and some in the evening. Just documenting the progress of the garden for the midseason point for the year.

Lower angle shot of the framing

Two more increase rounds to go before dividing.

My heel. I love this part.

Progress photos of my third faceup attempt, on my Loongsoul Lianpian, Saya.

I'm thinking it might stay a hexagon....

Fabricated cross members and installed them. Here it is with the camera resting where it belongs.
