Dissection of the roomba wheel/encoder. (The encoder's just a photoresistor/diode pair.)

A new development under construction behind my home. I'm losing an open view but gaining a nice new wall..

I think the next step is definitely to hang the room divider curtain sheers. Not sure when I'm going to have time to get that done, but hopefully I can do it during the week.

Henry's checking on my progress.

The wall of silk has changed... My wife loves having this curtain of colorful silks as a partition into her sewing area, looks like I'll have to keep going even after the art show. Here on the far right is the scarf that was shown tied up in previous images. It still needs to get a hair conditioning bath and an ironing.

I woke with a shiver and knew instantly that the wind had turned from the North - a dull sense of dread rose through my iron frame. As the sun broke over the wall I peered far into the light of dawn and my my fear proved well founded, the rains had moved on and with the winds behind them their progress through the night had been good, very good.

They will be here before he's ready.

Where is he, I must warn him - where did he go?

Easy fix, new lumber sizing is a little different ..as the new material is dimensionally smaller.

Finland, Helsinki: The ruins of the old Hanasaari power station, which is under demolition. Photo taken from a bridge crossing Sörnäisten rantatie street in the district of Sörnäinen. Art wall, ever changing.
