Each row is seamed together, now I have to seam all of the rows together. Meanwhile, I'm deciding on a border & backing.
Once we got going, the plaster came off pretty quickly. Kirstin's grandma, Beverly, helped with this project.
I ended up ripping up that white section, which is totally out of place.
A sampling of what's currently on my camera. I don't upload all the photos I take, but I take a lot of pictures of randumb things.
wooden heel. needs a lot more sanding and smoothen-ing out. Also still not quite sure on what the top part should be made out of. i was thinking of using the ides from my first progress check, and also paper macheing the heel blending the top half and the hee together to look like one piece.
Stacked up the stages. Going to get the sensing on the motor driver running before I attempt the bipolar steppers on these.

After measuring out the proportions in masking tape and lightly scratching the outline into the acrylic layer using a scalpel, I painted the base tones of the body.
Body is done with the exception of the front bands. Added some short rows at hem and some more aggressive shaping through the body. Blocking should help even things out a smidge. The hem is trying to be a bit flippy and the fronts are proving to be unruly (as expected with all that stockinette roll)
Once the front bands are done, I'll be working the sleeves :)
