This week I designed my character, I drew it myself and based it on a ballerina as I'm thinking of using a dancing clip for my project. If I decide not to, I can always change my design at a later date but I am able to follow the outline of this reference when creating my model. To get the image on maya I imported it as an image plane and then increased transparency so that I can see through it when modelling.
I finished the fronts of my husband's sweater last night during Project Runway!
It's dreadfully dreary outside, so I had to take this one on our kitchen floor.
Next, I want to put the fronts and backs together and knit the collar. Then I'll pick up stitches for the sleeves and knit down until I'm finished!
Here's the progress as of today, April 4, 2010. Last night, I applied the birch veneer, then dad and I sanded it all down. There's about 26 feet of veneer on that thing. Next step? Staining (again). It's coming along!
Progress pictures of Chuck and Jeremy building our back yard shed. Last piece before painting... the garage door!

Basically, it just makes use of netcat, which is a really nifty utility that lets you pipe stuff over the network, as if it was on the same machine. You just pipe whatever you need to to netcat, and then pipe it back out on the other end. You'll see this setup in the next couple pictures, but this is what it looked like.
