The idea of a 3-part series complete with exercise books and audio soundtrack that tells you how to write short BASIC programs might seem quaint nowadays, but this was cutting edge. A nice and very informative set if you can get your hands on it.

Maryland Environmental Service, on behalf of the Maryland Port Administration, works with local organizations and schools to place hatchling terrapins in classrooms. The juvenile turtles from the Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island live in classrooms from fall through the following spring.
Students provide all care to the terrapins. They collect growth data, observe behaviors, learn care and husbandry protocol, and research the natural history of our state reptile. Head starting allows the hatchlings to grow to the size of a 2-3 year old wild juvenile terrapin in just 6 months.
After caring for the hatchlings, students bring the terrapins back to Poplar Island where they are released to the Bay. This hands-on learning experience engages students to take action and better understand the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay.
Sgt. Sheena Lang, a Soldier attached to the 82nd Financial Management Support Unit, helps coach young girls in two YMCA of the Sandhills running programs that meet at Hedrick Stadium each week at Fort Bragg.

Dan Hrvatske vojske i Dan Hrvatske kopnene vojske (HKoV) obilježava se svake godine 28. svibnja, na dan kada je 28. svibnja 1991. godine održana svečana smotra Zbora narodne garde (ZNG) na stadionu NK "Zagreb" u Kranjčevićevoj ulici i kada su hrvatskoj javnosti predstavljene prve brigade ZNG-a. Zbor narodne garde bio je naziv za profesionalnu, uniformiranu, oružanu formaciju, vojnog ustroja za obavljanje obrambeno-redarstvenih dužnosti u Republici Hrvatskoj, preteču Hrvatske vojske.
Na ulicama i trgovima u središtu Zagreba održan prigodni program - koreografski nastup hodnog sastava Orkestra Hrvatske vojske, Vojno akrobatska vježba Počasno-zaštitne bojne.

The NMH Theater Program presented 10 Ways to Survive The Zombie Apocalypse, a short comedy by Don Zolidis, in the Rowland Theater of the Rhodes Arts Center, April 21 -22, 2022.
