The international students of Sergeants Major Course Class 69 began their Spring 2019 Field Studies Program on April 25. Day 1 of the program took the students on a historical walking tour of various locations across Baltimore, around the inner harbor, through Fells Point and Little Italy, they then boarded a lunch cruise where they received information about the Patapsco River, and ended their first day with a tour at the Orioles Ballpark.
An End of Year Ceremony was held for the K-4 in the Lower School Fieldhouse on June 16. Director of Lower School Elka Rifkin delivered the opening remarks. Head of School Michele Claeys presented the Teacher Award to Alison Aldredge, who was chosen by a silent vote among faculty members. Each grade sang songs and passed under the arch, signifying the end of the school year. Every student received a sunflower on the other side.
The Recreation program office is located in the Annex Building, located at the end of Loop Road below the Undergraduate Building. Here, you can sign up for fun trips and workshops and rent equipment for an outdoor adventure.
