Whoever dressed this young woman for the church Christmas program did a marvelous job. You've never seen such a look of pure innocence! She's so poised, and she wears her tiara and pearl necklace with such aplomb. The Burger King arm band matches the ensemble perfectly. She's playing her part, and happy to contribute to telling the story of the birth of Christ the King.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) joined the Orange County Fire Authority, Ventura County Fire Department, Southern California Edison (SCE), and Coulson Aviation to provide a day-into-night demonstration of the world’s largest fire-suppression, retardant-dropping helitankers of the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) program. The event took place at Helispot 69 Bravo: 22500 Saddle Peak Road Topanga, CA 90290.
Supported by SCE with nearly $18 million in funding, this public-private QRF partnership provides an exclusive contract for up to 165 days with Coulson Aviation to combine aerial firefighting resources, pre-assembled in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties, along with a mobile retardant base (MRB) and Helicopter Coordinator platform. Each of the helicopters have the capacity to deliver water of fire retardant both day and night.
For LACoFD, our CH-47 Chinook enhances the Department’s current air operations fleet which includes five Sikorsky S-70 Firehawks, five Bell 412 helicopters, and the seasonal exclusive contract with the Government of Quebec for two CL-415 SuperScoopers.
