The new camera system being tested on the Civvie has a wider field of view than our current mounted cameras, giving us twice the amount of visible area
Today we created two more games in Programming C! We created a target game with moving obstacles and a drawing game where we could change colors and the size of our pencil.
Taken with my new macro rig! FD 50mm 1.8 mounted on FD to EF adapter. Without the correcting lens. The focus range went from 0.3m-infinity to 0.15-0.3m approximately! At 1.8 you can see some color fringing, but step it down to 2.8 and it's gone.

At the top is a prototype board that I built which provides everything necessary to program a PIC microcontroller. At the bottom right is the prototype board that you get with a PICKit2... it does the same thing as my prototype board! :-)

I'm so proud of Steph. She pretty much taught herself the programming for Arduino this weekend! Andy did some of the mechanics, but the programming was all hers!
This is her midterm project for her 9th grade programming class. I'll try and get a video of the final piece in the next couple of days.
U.S. Soldiers assigned to South Carolina Army National Guard and Colombian Soldiers, celebrate July 4th in a ceremony hosted by the Colombian Army in Exercise Together Forward at Tolemaida, Colombia, July 4, 2019. The exercise allows for an exchanging of infantry doctrine performing squad and platoon situational training exercises, and will culminate with an integrated platoon live fire exercise. The S.C. National Guard and The Republic of Colombia have a State Partnership Program since 2012 which provides support to Colombia’s Security Cooperation Organization. Exercise Together Forward is part of U.S. Southern Command’s Enduring Promise initiative and reflects the United States’ enduring promise of friendship, partnership, and solidarity with the Americas.

The aspiring young journalists had the opportunity to interview our Museum Education & Interpretive Manager- Maya Makker, GATEways Outreach Students- Vivian Le and Rachel Le and our Outreach and Leadership Program Coordinator- Melissa Cruz.
