The Winston-Salem State University Department of Athletics in conjunction with the WSSU Football Program will hold its 2nd Annual Women's Football Clinic, Saturday June 15, 2013.

The goal of this annual clinic is to give women a more thorough understanding of the sport they watch so devotedly each fall while having a great time interacting with WSSU players and coaching staff.

Last year's clinic was an indoor information session covering fundamentals and general rules. This year we're taking it to the field and stepping up our intensity. We will cover offensive drills, defensive drills, formations, and the meaning of referee signals. Come get in the huddle with us and see firsthand the drive and determination it takes to prepare to play in some of the biggest games week-in and week-out. From die-hard football fans to newcomers who just want to understand what their boyfriends, husbands are yelling about in front of the television each weekend, the Women's Football Clinic offers something for everyone.

The clinic will begin with breakfast at 9:00 am and will last until approximately 12 noon. The morning will conclude with a presentation of a "Certificate of Completion," signed by Coach Connell Maynor. So make sure you register today and get your chance to get in the huddle with the NCAA Division II National Championship runner-up Rams football team! Ram Pride! All Day, Every Day!
