Scanlan, a dental technician, both attached to 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, extract a tooth from a young girl with the aid of an intepreter at the field dental clinic in Thmor Pouk, Banteay Meanchey, Kingdom of Cambodia. Marines and sailors of 3rd Medical Battalion are deployed in support of Cambodia Interoperability Program '08, a bilateral Medical and Dental Civil Action Program which is intended to build on the relationship between the U.S. and Cambodian governments and develop interoperability between U.S. forces and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. UI Health Care STEM Education partnered with UI Orientation Services in hosting an interactive STEM experience for siblings of future freshman at University of Iowa. Students had the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look at the newest MRI Research Facility and learn about how it works and what it is used for.
University of Iowa Health Care is committed partners with formal and informal educators and community organizations across the state to advance STEM literacy to inspire the next generation of health care professionals and build a foundation for children to understanding their own health. In FY2015, more than 16,000 school age children were engaged in hands on learning provided by 260 faculty, staff and students.

nice to know, all the classic Apple, IBM, Arcade, Atari, Commodore etc… fonts are in there, as long they are based on 8x8 pixels

Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!
