Happy Holidays!
Woke up at 7am and took these just before sunrise. It's hard to do work during evenings now that I've taken the habit of going to bed early. Work is mostly done during mornings when the house is still quiet. Pretty stoked about getting a new studio space next month!

These are seashell pendants fresh from being cast. They are all sterling silver except for the 14K gold seashell in the middle.

Photo taken at night and heavily post processed. My camera is a rather crappy entry-level and with 200 ISO manages to yield a ridiculous amount of noise in "border-line" situations, such as poor lighting conditions. Nevertheless, I like the "watercolorish" effect I got from it and decided to upload the picture anyways. Cheers!
This week for 52 Weeks of 2011 the theme was "Processing, before and after"... this is the after, most done in Lightroom. The after is below.
Himmelstadt is a future city with highly density but still has lots of green land. All the connection between each building are built in the sky, which will make the below space become more public.
People and nature can get great balance here.

The wall to the right was inch thick old plaster over brick. It was studded and drywalled which made room for the light switch and gave an even surface for mounting cabinets. After the studs were up but before it was drywalled, DD#3 signed her name and drew pictures on the wall. :)
DH did most of the painting. Here he has started putting primer on the ceiling.

The final piece runs about 4.5 minutes at 25fps.
'Color Search' sketch:
I found inspiration in the 'Pixel Path' Processing work done by Craig Mackenzie, and wanted to try my hand at it:

In this sketch, it isolates every 5th pixel, and if it fist a certain HSB criteria, it finds every matching pixel in the image, and draws a line to it.

Simplified things a bit. Now it uses just one texture whereas the previous two images relied on 8 images.
Sometimes memories are not at all like the actual event, yet they are what stays with us and eventually become reality.
