The road into town was closed this morning because Dŵr Cymru (Welsh Water) have dug a big hole to replace some water pips.
We were planning to reattach the radiator as well, but the radiator is too tall for the valve (thanks to the new floor). I'm not really sure how to fix this, since there is no play in the radiator valve, and I can't make the radiator any shorter. We may have to call a pro.

Once pelicans and gulls, attracted by fish remains, are in the dumpster, it's almost impossible for them to escape.
Suddenly my beloved Retinette has started throwing a wobbly and has started having wind on problems. The shutter cocks but the film fails to wind on as something is not connecting. I took her to pieces the other night to try and sort it. I may have sorted the wind on, or at least it's now better (though I couldn't actually find anything amiss) but I've buggered the light meter now................I'm not having much luck with these old cameras lately!!

Clogged gutter cleaned and sealed the end cap of the gutter
Rubber was cracked around two vents so roof fabric and cemented the area to make it water tight.
downspout looked ok, where sloped meets flat roof ok
If homeowner has another leak it will be from interior plumbing not the roof
Tar separating from chimney in many places, sealed cracks,
flat roof rubber separating from edge metal, Sealed 25 feet,
sealed all nails popped up holding rubber down along back side of flat roof near eaves
