Destaca Gobernador Padrés esfuerzo de todos.
Hermosillo, Sonora.- El fundamento del Nuevo Sonora es trabajar todos juntos para darle resultados al ciudadano, afirmó el Gobernador Guillermo Padrés Elías al destacar los beneficios generados hasta ahora para los sonorenses gracias al esfuerzo de los tres niveles de gobierno.
Lo anterior en el marco de la presentación del proyecto de solución general del Camino del Seri en esta capital, que contempla en pavimentación, modernización y ampliación de vialidades una inversión de 165 millones de pesos.
Acompañado por el alcalde Javier Gándara Magaña; el Delegado de la SCT, Luis Serrato Castell y legisladores locales y federales, el Gobernador les agradeció sumar esfuerzos y trabajar en las coincidencias, para cumplirle a los hermosillenses esta petición largamente anhelada.
Uno a uno mencionó a los involucrados en este proyecto que traerá desarrollo y modernidad, un nuevo rostro a los residentes de este sector del Sur Poniente de Hermosillo.
“Hago mención de todos los involucrados porque de eso se trata mi gobierno, ése es el fundamento del Nuevo Sonora, el que todos trabajemos juntos, el que trabajemos sobre las coincidencias para darle resultados a los ciudadanos”, enfatizó.
Si trabajamos sobre las diferencias y cada quien por nuestro lado, advirtió, no vamos a lograr los objetivos de las obras de infraestructura importantes que necesita Sonora, que necesita Hermosillo.
Reiteró su firme propósito de convocar a todos a trabajar de la mano y afirmó que el Nuevo Sonora es un cambio de actitud y una forma diferente de hacer política, y que cuando se empeñe la palabra y se hagan los compromisos con los sonorenses, se cumplan cabalmente.
Después de saludar y estrechar la mano de quienes le dieron el apoyo para dirigir el destino del estado, el Gobernador Padrés indicó que esa nueva forma de trabajar, es lo que dio como resultado la solución a la problemática del Camino del Seri, en el cual hubo sinergia, coordinación y suma de esfuerzos para cumplirle a los habitantes de las 30 colonias que van a ser beneficiadas.
Para estar atentos del avance de los trabajos y de la calidad de la obra, el Gobernador Padrés, tomó protesta a los integrantes del Comité Ciudadano del “Proyecto Camino del Seri”.
Mario Méndez Dessens, Director General de Coordinación de Infraestructura Urbana y Ecología del Ayuntamiento de Hermosillo, dio a conocer los pormenores de la obra, que se realizará en dos etapas, con una inversión de 165 millones de pesos, 75 millones de pesos del Gobierno del Estado y 90 millones de pesos aportados por el Gobierno Federal, a través de la SCT.
Detalló que la obra contempla la solución a los problemas de vialidad, infraestructura y pluviales de este sector en el que habitan 250 mil hermosillenses y de los cuales 40 mil cruzan a diario por el Camino del Seri.
El alcalde Javier Gándara Magaña, agradeció el apoyo del Gobernador Padrés para hacer realidad esta obra largamente reclamada por los hermosillenses y que fue un compromiso de campaña de ambos hace meses y lo invitó a inugurar la nueva vía en el mes de diciembre del presente año.

Shot during the 19th Chennai Photowalk - Part II.
These kids had fun posing for all of us photowalkers. One tough thing was to decide on which cam to look at. :). The kid on the extreme left looks baffled...!
My iPod is now stuck on this screen. The buttons work, and I can play other things, but the screen never changes, even when I turn it off. (In case you're curious, the backlight still works). It happened earlier today. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas?

Had to take her in today because of weird eye discharge and patches around eye.
And $236 later they don't know what it is. As always, no one knows what the problem is with me or my pets when I take them. That's why I never go, even though my feet kill me every day and I know other stuff is wrong.

There is some discussion about MacBook gaposis. I thought I'd document mine. The machine has performed perfectly for me for about ten days, so I'm reluctant to take my chances on repair/replacement, but it has noticable gaps in three places: The left and right edges of the keyboard platform, and the top of the screen bezel above the iSight. And I figure that if this is a manufacturing defect, it's better to get in on it early rather than late, before it worsens. So it's shipping back to get checked out.
I was having a problem with Carrara and a bottle, in particular the liquid going grey when inside the bottle. So I rendered this to see where the problem was. It turned out the bottle had some shader domain issues. Doh.
