Hello Flickr, this will be the first photograph i upload my style of photography will show Emotion, humor and a little bit of my creativity.
a few weeks back i tried to buy something on verkkokauppa.com - my browser crashed just as i was authorising the payment on sampo bank website - my 16euros were lost in limbo for a few weeks. no order was confirmed. anyway the 16e came back to me yesterday so i tried again. instead of using safari or firefox in osx i used ie7 in windows xp. this time other error messages came through and no order was placed. at least my 16e didnt get lost this time.
update: just now i ordered something on amazon.co.uk - a little while later i get an email from them saying "we are having difficulty processing the payment" = more problems with sampo :/ ignore this :) it was a problem with me not sampo :)

The Problems relating to the Management & Excavations of the Archaeological Ruins of Herculaneum / Pompeii as reported in Foreign Press (1904-2002). "£1.8m project to restore ruins of Pompeii." The Times, Nov 11, 1977, p. 7.
The slowness problem with pbase may not always be pbase's fault. A tech savvy member of my Digipets group has pointed out "The speed is different for different people because the route from where
they are to the destination address is different so it involves different
routers/servers/etcetera. You can sometimes fault the end address for the
slow access but more often it is one of the other many links in the chain" You can see where your problem is by opening up start/run and entering tracert pbase.com (The tracing is incomplete because when I wait till the 30 hops complete the screen disappears.)

Day two: still pretty busted! The non-tiny eye is looking better, she's wheezing less, and she's eating like a champion, but there is much progress to be made.
All settings the same. AF on the left, manual focus on the right, 200% crop. Note the wood, which is about 1.5mm further away from the lens than the brass plate (which is where the focus point was set), is in focus on the left image.
Focus was measured from the brass plate, not the wood.

I get paid to hook people up with the information they need to solve problems, be they academic, personal, civic, or otherwise. And reference sources are some of the most
valuable tools I''''ve found to help people move further down
the path of inquiry. Most of the UW Libraries'''' reference sources, whether
specialized encyclopedias, dictionaries, statistical compendia, or atlases, are replete with potential for solving problems, answering questions, and inspiring more of the same.
But during a recent stroll through the reference collection, I stumbled upon this 3-volume set, the Encyclopedia of World Problems and Human Potential. That''''s right, the first volume is a thousand-page list of problems. What kind of problems?
It''''s a taxonomy of problems ranging from "abstract fundamental problems", "very specific problems", "emanations
of other problems", and "fuzzy exceptional problems".
A small sampling, each of which you could find a description and cross reference to various human potentials (volume 2) that could be used to address those problems:
animal road deaths
bride burning
apathy
uncoordinated global restructuring of production
broken heart
chronic boredom
civilian casualties of war
dangerous sporting activity
abandonment
environmental hazards of pharmaceutical products
absence of social prowess
anger
airline pilot fatigue
arachnophobia
denial of the Holocaust
abusive sales techniques
welfare Keynesianism
youthful superiority
entrenched politicians
inhibited self-promotion
irresponsible radiologists
lack of accurate maps
pain
threatened floral kingdoms
And now that you''''re intrigued, it''''s online too!
Parking problems began in the 1970s,with the increased development of offices, more people looked to park and walk in, do not blame them, the commutor would descend on the road and fill up any available spaces, car after car, which was o.k. as we were all off to work in our vehicles, trouble arose when arriving home and some obnoxious pratt had parked across the drive,I remember one driver trying to edge my motorcycle out of the way,he never ever parked outside the house again, the Rover belonged to my big big bruv, the viva belonged to my mum,who kindly let me drive it when I passed my test
