We are both majorly in the groove with seasonal stitching projects -- Pookie is making an autumnal leaf-motifed quilt from a pattern in the Vintage Farmgirl book, and Schnookie is still motoring away on her Christmas needlepoints. Neither of us wants summer to end, but we're both pretty clearly starting to think ahead.

And the story of pretty much every day now is wanting to be at home, working on our projects and watching "Chuck". It's a good life, except for how much of our time have to spend not doing those things.

Working and Packing is prettymuch all I've done today. When doing my clothes I had to remember to pack my weekend bag and a bag for the first night at the new place.

Found this jacket with the fur hood and decided to pack it for my weekend farm trip instead of my trenchcoat. Looks like I'm going to the Artic or something though

Heading home, neglected to take a pic while out so this is my (admittedly) poor effort for today.

After a very quiet and relaxing couple of days at home by myself, I wandered over to Kingsford for a games afternoon. Wound up playing Cranium in teams which went hilariously forever before half the people left and the rest of us ordered dinner and watched a movie. It was prettymuch the ideal long weekend and helped me to forget about a few things that have been constantly on my mind of late.

My wrist has again been causing me immense amounts of pain lately. Might see if I can get into seeing osteo before heading to Perth. The dreaded wrist brace is making an appearance again.

Wit- went backpacking with the family this weekend in the Ouachita National Forest. I shot everything prettymuch wide open as it was overcast and deeply wooded. The rare Dogwood you might find in north central Texas finished their blooming about a month ago and I didn't shoot any so I was glad to soo the Oklahoma woods full of them even if they were just about spent.
