What a beautiful calendar from my Flickr friend Sheila! And perfectly in time for Christmas. The one I sent her will arrive some time in the new year, but should still be useful!! Thank you, dear Sheila and Stew!
The MNF body is more pink than the faceplate, but it can be blushed to match up better. I do have to widen the opening of the headback to accommodate the neck better, but I am very happy with my Sist/ mnf hybrid.

Much-loved pig pressie from Bertie - this is how she fell asleep with it in her mouth after play time.
Sadly, this little piggy is no more...first we lost the tail, then the one ear, then the one leg, then the stuffing and sound box....and then it was all over! R.I.P. piggy!
a handmade mothers day pressie for my lovely mum - the brooch is made from fabric, 3 layers of felt, and 2 repurposed buttons. It has a small silver plated brooch pin on the reverse and I have attached it to a card - a card and a pressie in one!

My mom came over today and gave Shawn and me St. Nick's Day pressies. ^__^ My mom gave me this adorable gingerbread Hello Kitty-- she's decked out in a gingerbread cookie costume with all the works: frosting trimming, heart candies, peppermints, and even a mini gingerbread cookie to hold! I totally squee'd when I saw her. ^o^ Even her back is gorgeous with her name and hearts in pastels!
I feel so lucky-- my mom told me this plushie was the last one of its kind at the candy shop. She knows me all too well. My new plushie even matches the candy shop xmas tree decorations all over our apartment. <3
A birthday pressie for Kate (under proviso I could come too) you cook a delicious three course lunch with the help of a professional chef.
Went into the shop, looking for a little pressie - and to be honest this is not my sort of thing, but when I saw it dancing to Presley's song - Hound dog - I just couldn't resit it, lol.

the last time i bought cowboy boots was almost 20 years ago and they're still in great condition, but my feet grew after kids, so now my daughter wears them. i was so excited when my husband suggested a new pair for my birthday today as we shopped around austin. these are the most amazing pair i've ever owned, too - hand crafted with cool classic touches, and so soft!!
