We finally got the sod laid in the backyard. It looks SO great.

 

Ben is a champion. He filled in the entire pond with dirt, did all of the prepwork and ground clearing around the area.

 

And also, my lower back is KILLING ME.

 

You can see before picutres of the pond here. We really did love the way the pond looked and stuff but it was one problem after the other after the other. This way we have more backyard space to use and enjoy with MUCH less hassle.

Here my sister in law is preparing her daughter for her dance recital, it ended up going pretty well.

These mussels were picked out the bay at low tide, and hand delivered to us 20 minutes later. Hows that for fresh?

Trip is doing all the dirty work here. I think he was stirring for about five minutes or so. How much sugar goes into sweet tea anyway?

I can not find biscuit cutter here to save my life. Since I still haven't bough any online (i will soon) I've been using the O in my LOVE cookie cutters. Ghetto fab, baby.

i have cards everywhere, ones I've removed off the drying rack, and haven't packaged yet but will.

Thursday will be the bag-a-thon, or what I fondly refer to it by, I need to get everything packaged up, and ready for Friday.

Den wall looking West. Paint is a copper metallic. Took about 4 coats to finish it. That doesn't include the 2 coats of primer.
