READY TO PLANT -- 2010 file photo of seed being poured into bins as part of the prepwork for planting a cotton demonstration plot in Phillips County, Ark. (U of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture photo by Robert Goodson.)
The prep work. A small area of water damage that needs repair. The leak was long ago fixed; now I have 2 small areas that need work. Keeping busy helps a lot, with the added bonus of completing repairs that I'm too cheap to pay someone else to do.
Seems that lately my stream has turned into a bit of a chronicle of my everyday life. That's good. A bit of reality is probably what I need right now. So if you like my photoshop stuff, just bare with me. It will be back. But right now, I'm still busy "getting on with it".
Hey! Just be glad I didn't shoot a pic of me cleaning toilets!
oh man. this is ricky, he was fucking awesome. we were standing in this line after one of the workers totally was like "yeah things here basically suck" and we were like "well we WERE excited"
ricky comes out and is like "does anyone have any questions that i can answer while you are in line?"
"how is your evening" - says pix
"well u know, its pretty great actually" - ricky
so we gets to talkin, and it turns out ricky is badass. and hes all like "yeah, its cool in the dome, but you dont have to wait 30 minutes if you looked through telescopes on the lawn"
so he takes us in around the back for a VIP sneak peak at the architecture and the telescope. shits was tight.
so we hung out and chatted about renovations and the universe, and he tells us we gotta check out the basement, which is all new, and we almost left without knowing about it. so he saved our ass. we snapped this photo and snuck on down there.
we saw him again at the space particle cloud vapor tank which blew my mind, and then he had to go to some prepwork official duties cause he was the head honcho that night. so we told him to check out the movie "event horizon" cause that was the name of the room he was walking into, he said ok, and then we wished him a wonderful evening and thanked him again for VIP shits.
thanks ricky. you are the best.
did a lot of work today at a craft meetup, this is prepwork for a page in a 4x6 mini journal, I am not use to working so small and I dont usually work so bright so this is testing my boundaries

Thick light-rey card that's been sanded through in places with 80-grit sandpaper ready for a screen print during this week's Print Club (don't ask about Print Club, you know what the answer to any questions about it will be ;-)
It'll either work and look ace or will be an unmitigated disaster, in which case I'll delete this photo and we'll have to agree to never speak of this particular print run again! However, on the flip side, if it comes out as well as I plan then I'll have a run of between 10 and 20 unique prints that will be available soon...
In other news - I've just reviewed Street Renegades and have a copy to give away. Pop over to see the review and enter the comp if you fancy.
