Almost exactly the same color I have on my hair. This will not come as a surprise to those who know me.

Landscapes- prepwork

I paint sets, not houses, so I was surprised when I got home to see that they'd started with the trim; I usually go from lightest to darkest. Not *unhappily* surprised, mind you ...

It seems odd that we would go poking a bunch of holes in the ground near this sign, but they did their prepwork well and had the utilities come out and mark the underground lines before any drilling was done.

We finally got the sod laid in the backyard. It looks SO great.

Ben is a champion. He filled in the entire pond with dirt, did all of the prepwork and ground clearing around the area.

And also, my lower back is KILLING ME.

You can see before picutres of the pond here. We really did love the way the pond looked and stuff but it was one problem after the other after the other. This way we have more backyard space to use and enjoy with MUCH less hassle.

These mussels where used in the fish chowder, which was the first course.

Whole lotta scraping on the front side

Green onions, tomatoes.

Here my sister in law is preparing her daughter for her dance recital, it ended up going pretty well.

These mussels were picked out the bay at low tide, and hand delivered to us 20 minutes later. Hows that for fresh?

Trip is doing all the dirty work here. I think he was stirring for about five minutes or so. How much sugar goes into sweet tea anyway?

i have cards everywhere, ones I've removed off the drying rack, and haven't packaged yet but will.

I can not find biscuit cutter here to save my life. Since I still haven't bough any online (i will soon) I've been using the O in my LOVE cookie cutters. Ghetto fab, baby.

Note front door sticker.

West den wall. I would almost admit that I like the contrasting colors. If I wasn't thinking resale on the house I may have just as well left it alone and sealed the strips and left off the stain.

Huge amount of linoleum underneath the carpet around door, and we've been balancing on one foot inside a square the size of a postage stamp trying to keep carpet clean while taking off shoes... sigh.

Face paint for the little hobo.

After climbing the Andes, we came back down to Santiago and visited Mercado Central, the city’s bustling market, before flying back to the United States.

Den wall looking West. Paint is a copper metallic. Took about 4 coats to finish it. That doesn't include the 2 coats of primer.
