In order for a good weld, I wanted to wire wheel the paint off of the surfaces that I would be welding to.
Once I determined the rough location, I scratched the mount across the control arm so I knew where to wire wheel. I used a corse wire wheel on an air powered die grinder to remove the paint. It surprised me how durable it is. BMW didn't skimp on the quality of this coating.
The To the Moon exhibit ran at the LBJ Library from President Johnson's 100th birthday on August 27, 2008 until the 40th anniversary of the moon landing on July 20, 2009. The exhibit included Mercury 7 and the Russian spacecraft, Vostok that flew a dog and a mannequin two weeks before Yuri Gagarian's historic manned space flight. These vessels were removed from the LBJ Library's fourth floor exhibit space via crane.

Eighteen area community leaders and educators visited Fort Knox and U.S. Army Cadet Command’s cadet summer training July 21. The purpose of the visit was to become better educated in the types of training Cadet Command and Fort Knox conduct and what the changes to Fort Knox have truly brought the area. Additionally, the area CLEs were able to learn firsthand how tomorrow’s Army’s leaders are trained today

After making our way around the gendarme to teh backside of the gendarme next to The Tooth, we arrived at the Tooth's base (seen here). Then its all about changing into the harness, getting out the rope, the gear. Adrian tapes his fingers and you move from powering up the hill to finese up the rock.
