On Valentine’s Day 2016, we took a horse-drawn sleigh ride at the Thunder Bay Resort in Hillman, MI. The hour-long sleigh ride leads to a cabin in the woods where we enjoyed a five course gourmet dinner prepared on two wood-burning stoves. The entire event lasted four hours. For more information on this award-winning tour, given ten months of the year, see thunderbayresort.com/elk-viewing/
Took this shot as if I were about to launch off in my boat. In a few weeks this will be a very busy boat launch as the salmon start to arrive

I have yet to re-visit Florida since they upgraded Space Mountain. I only have good thoughts on what they did, and I am really hoping that they closed off the roof for 2 reasons. The first is because the queue lights were flooding into the attraction and it was too bright. I don’t want to see the faint outline of the track in front of me! Second, it adds suspense. Just like in Disneyland, when you can’t see the ride from the line you have no idea what to expect inside.

In nomadic families, the woman takes care of the food and the house. The food consists mainly in meat (cow, mutton and goat), some imported vegetables (carrot, potato, garlic and onion) and flour. Usually, they go to the nearest town or village to buy gasoline, food (processed food and vegetables), toilet paper, etc. All other things they prepare it by themselves: the wrappers for the dumplings, the minced meat, the noodles, etc.

Right after I took this, the roof retracted with a resounding mechanical lurch, and the balloon lifted off, soaring to awesome heights. I wish you could have been there to see it.
