More and more carpets were spread over the floor outside the Nebi Camii. At the end you couldn't walk here anymore with your shoes on. Finally, back on the streets of Diyarbakır I could walk with my shoes on again.

The Kumbh Mela (or Kumbha Mela) is a Hindu religious festival that is celebrated four times every 12 years in special locations in India.
The 2010 Kumbh Mela was on the Ganges in Haridwar, and the pilgrims came from all over, carrying kumbhs (water pots) or other containers to carry water from the sacred rivers home with them.
At the ghats on the river people prepare ritual offerings with which to worship the Mother Ganges.
