With hand sanitizing, face masks and social distancing in place, Hoover High School held their first official football practice with helmets on Monday, August 10th.
We have old exams up until 2003. Anything newer would be on your prof. Twen
site if they choose to offer them.
Drum and bugle corps was practicing at the local high school a couple of years ago. These kids were amazingly dedicated...sweating and working hard in the summer heat.
Several "staff"...former band members? all had jobs. This blond girl in the black bikini seemed intent on watching the size and position of every step.
Fires in the mountains and I need to practice near/far focus.
I cheated a little, stopping down and using the adjustment scale on the rear focus knob. I'm not convinced it worked. Still, not too bad.

I'm starting to push myself out of my comfort zone by trying to learn how to do portraiture. Starting with SPs for now. I've got a LONG way to go. So many of my friends here on flickr are so good at this.

An unedited webcam comparison photo. One side with make-up, the other completely make-up free. I used a very light cream foundation for the base. Finished it off with light powder and shimmer. It is actually whiter and more shimmery/glittery in person.
Btw, my left eye looks bigger than the right and that's just because of eye-liner. Skipped out on those circle lenses that make your irises look bigger. It is 12 midnight now and putting on contact lenses this late is quite uncomfortable.
Somehow, the shot reminds me of this Mulan Poster:

LOL
Again, sorry can't help myself. Playing with new make-up feels like playing with new art materials or new photography equipment. Exciting! LOL I'll be going as the White Queen with my lil sis *orangeish as Alice, and my good old friend Faus Ontengco as The Mad Hatter. We'll be doing this next weekend for Power Plant's Alice in Wonderland Tea Party.

Another look at the German Friendship Globe at Dundarave Park in West Vancouver. Directly across the water is the University of British Columbia (UBC) nestled in it's forested endowment lands.
My wife has been practicing her makeup skills recently, and here she was trying out some new eyeliner designs. She asked me to take a picture so she could see what it looked like.
Shooting this took about 20 seconds and exactly two shots. The first exposure was slightly overexposed, and then this second one was perfect. My wife didn't think I was taking her seriously when I said we were done, but when she looked at the camera LCD, she smiled and that was it.
