The theme for the day was “Efficiencies and Profitability for your Practice” outlining several relevant issues for practitioners such as issues in the SME Sector and staying up to date on compliance matters.

Today wasn't all that eventful, power was out for most of it due to some storms frying the nearby power transformers and the lightning didn't want to cooperate for my photos so I tried practicing my panning. It's quite hard to do!

 

This was probably my best one of the day. I think I need a bit more practice, given that it's going to be raining for the next few days I might just get some. :)

Evening practice.

Shooting southwesterly and low to the ground with no lens hood around mid-day, I ended up with an awfully washed-out flare shot of this little guy.

 

Took the opportunity to try and recover it "as best I can" so I have an idea how to deal with this in the future if it happens to a shot I actually care about and can't re-shoot.

Some of my friends asked me why I never post any photo's of myself. I hate my photo being taken but... here it is. :-(

I just got off of work and I am ready for the week-end !!
