In most of Yorkshire, electricity was distributed and supplied by the Yorkshire Electricity Board, and this substation, in Headingley, is still operating but now in the hands of Northern Powergrid (Yorkshire) plc. The electricity industry was privatised in the late 1980s.

This is on the side of a board game box. The game involves planning the growth and operations of a power company. These are the most entertaining game description icons I've yet seen on a board game box.
