It's a great blue heron taking flight over Shelley Lake in northern Raleigh, NC. The photo was taken in December 2013. In January of 2015 I continued the post production by using Lightroom to produce two seperate exposures of the original photo, and then re combining them with Photomatix Pro.

Added a touch of "film shot" right there.

Since I can’t play outside in the actual rain I decided to create my own inside my room. Here’s to a crisscross of creativity, imagination, boredom and post-processing.

corrective edits only

I posted a high key shot of my daughter quite some time ago www.flickr.com/photos/mexipickle/2617561702/ . My wife is interested in doing a pair of high key shots of our two kids...so I dug this shot out of the recent ones I've taken and did some PP to it.

Do you think it works? Does it pair up with the other one? Please share your comments/critiques with me.

GoPro wide-angle madness!

My post processed version. I did basic processing, straightened, removed house and a few other things I didn't like. Did some burning, added multiple texture layers. My vision was for an old looking image, stormy with a hint of blue sky. I rather like it, but your comments, good or critical, welcomed.

Found a homeless who was sleeping in side of railway in Braga

We came home one evening and saw this frog on our concrete wall. My brother took this shot using my camera. The concrete wall was a bit distracting to the image so I isolated the frog then blurred the background.

This was a major edit for me. I had to add the background and border and text. I like the outcome though.

Actually I really liked the delicate and artisty moderate colors of the previous version but it didn't really catch the attention.

Strobist info:

I used a rim/ring to get this special effect. See details of the rimlight adapter:

For those who are wondering... it's a portrait of a sad wall...

I went out on Jan. 2nd with my very own words to shoot by: color and polygons. Here, towards the end of my shoot, the goal merged. Summit reached.

I love the cracked sign, the little tributaries running down the right silhouette's face (yes, I had to work to remove the gendered language I used, after I realized I was just going with the flow of graphic messages developed ages ago).
