That's 'stories' in the agile sense.
We decided that it would be a good idea to plan the development of the application in terms of hypothetical blog posts that we might post. From this point on, the application seemed more real.
On 26 September, the eight cross-government service design meet-up discussed ‘economics and social change’ – improving outcomes for users and making service provision more efficient for government at the same time. The event included presentations from HM Revenue & Customs, Essex County Council, and GDS’s economics team.
It has been a while since my last coffee drawing. Leave it to Sam Brown and the explodingdog.com to get me inspired again to draw up a new coffee drawing. However, I think the day goes so much slower without coffee.

I added some cool new watches to my collection over the Holiday. One of them was this awesome Green strap with a Green face from Modify Watches. You can select your band color and then choose a face style to go in it. I got a green & black strap to go with 3 different face colors including a Green face, blue face, and silver face. A board I volunteer for is having big growing pains. Our organization has grown tenfold this past year. "We are craving organization" the board president said to me. So we are going to implement Personal Kanban within our organization. Supplies for our meeting. We will be using a personal Kanban right in the middle of the table to conduct the meeting. Everyone will get a post it note pack and voice their concerns, and determine what task each person should be responsible for. We will address each one and move all post it's through the pk on the table.
Using a pair of nerdy glasses as a handle I hope you like this nerd life themed mug of coffee. Seems to have spilled over a bit too much. Be careful when you pour.

Our favorite paleontologist visited this weekend and told us of the ancient flying turtle named after a Japanese monster. Because scientists are COOL.

Today is my 9 year anniversary working at Golfsmith. It's hard to imagine I have been designing Golf Clubs and retail packaging for that long now. A lot has changed over those 9 years.
Sprint 19 brought together people working across government to learn more about how digital transformation is improving people's lives.
We be talked about the work GDS and teams across government are doing to solve the hardest problems. We also looked at where we’re heading next.
