I'm a little slow posting this. I've noticed that some people are doing a glimpses project this year and I thought it was a great idea. I'm going to try and get a candid picture of family life this year...preferably when the family doesn't know I'm taking pictures.
I just love this shot. We love playing hearts and recently found out there's a version of the game where you play with two decks of cards called cancellation hearts. The kids were laughing here because they each played a queen of spades which cancels each other out and sticks someone else
with both of them...which is really bad in hearts. They were pretty pleased with themselves
MSH: this board has been scarred with an entire years worth of poster and notification posting. I dont know what they do with it, because usually when the bulletin boards get like this they take them down and put up new ones, but this is like a little kiosk thing. But anyway, it's pretty scarred with staples
This photo was taken at the Columbus Topiary Park just before sundown. These beautiful fall colors suggest that our summer is almost over.
This grasshopper was taking refuge on top of this post from all the predators below, due to an injured back leg. Soon after, it was decided that his life would be sacrificed for a lizard's meal.
