Yes one can do those two things at the same time. Especially when dressed as being that special person is alway so relaxing both mentally and physically and especially in stressful times.

I took out my new lens today to experiment on birds. I was pleased with the results but have to experiment more. I'm still getting used to the camera as well. As long as I have it figured out before "sparrowtime" :)

I caught this egret landing, but suspended like this it looks like it's striking a dance pose.

This is quite a tight crop - 400mm sounds like a lot when you're used to shooting 35mm primes, but for birds it's quite short. Thankfully the A7RII has enough pixels that I can get away with it.

On what is perhaps an interesting side note, The first three of this quartet of photos was taken around 9 AM Monday morning. (Just after Daisy got dressed after that "Panama Hat" series.) And this photo was taken at nearly six that evening....with Miss Daisy still looking fresh and fine. (Even after baking all afternoon...)

Hmmm....if I didn't know any better....I'd say this life rather suits her. Wouldn't you? 😘❤️️

It is amazing how one change in a pose can change a photo.

This shot of Ally to me is very sweet, wholesome and innocent and would appeal to a larger range of people. Now the photo in comments is pretty much the same but she has her legs apart and to me is much sexier, has some attitude and would appeal to males far more than females. It changes the whole tone and feel of the photo even though there is only one real difference to the shot.

I just thought it really interesting.....

I was tired of the same ol' same ol'. So I told Daisy to try "something different" yesterday evening. And though I've done this pose myself a few times, I do believe it is indeed different...for Daisy at least. 💖

She was a little torn up....I think that's why she posed for quite some time.

I can't believe how close i got to this wee fella. I had on my nifty fifty and thought i'd never get a good shot but i got up on the pier wall and walked along. kept my distance but he never flinched, so got closer and closer and closer still and he never budged so just snapped away. aimee got some photos too.. she thought it was class being able to get so close too.... little amuses the innocent eh..
