Boo. I suspect that they were crappy because the server thought I said I wanted the Italian style chops, when in fact I had ordered the plain. Why would I want pork chops drowning in olive oil? Bleah.
I ate very little of the dish, then had the rest boxed to go. I gave the box to a nice homeless guy who asked me about the day's Cubs game.
(Sorry if this is too dark, Windows people. The restaurant was way dark, and the food was not worth the use of flash.)
At the Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S Morgan in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. The art show continues noon to 6 pm on Sunday, May 18th and on Sat & Sun, May 24th & 25th.
I never in my life thought that I would describe a pork chop as amazing. I grew up eating rubbery, chewy, tough, dry, and tasteless meat. These chops were tender and so, so good.
Haven't flickr'd a meal in a while... let's try to get back on the wagon in 2011.
