My poor old boy has a skin rash, which he has been scratching, so he now has to wear this buster collar for a while,

Bruce often gets this, it flares up mostly during the summer, I have found that diluted hibiscrub clears it up within a few days, that when i can stop him scratching.

I took this on the freeway between San Antonio & Austin in a sudden downpour!! That guy was soaked!!

I am just having 'one of those days.' Winston listens, but I can so tell he doesn't really care ♥

Had fight with tinsel. Tinsel won. Barney sad.

Don't ask Barney to help with the Christmas decorations, they beat him up, leaving him a shadow of his former proud self ;-) Haha! Don't be fooled by the pathetic expression, this was the result of a very mean lady (me!) keeping hold of his ball for too long, Barney is very good at the puppy dog eyes. All joy was restored once I'd thrown the ball for him, tinsel completely forgotten. Yep, despite the sad face here, Barney was quite happy :) (See below!)

Later, I really did upset him though, not by tormenting him with more Christmas decorations, but by doing some clicker training with Dilly! Barney would happily flatten her in an attempt to show off all his tricks, and win attention. So, to prevent Dilly getting squished, he got shut in the hall for 10 minutes (this was after I spent ages training him!). He waited outside, squeaking and wailing, (which quickly turned into outraged yelping), when he realised not only was I spending time with Dilly, I was giving her treats!!

It's outrageous, first I wrap him tinsel, then I DARE to spend some time with our other dog. The things he has to put up with... I'm surprised Barney hasn't packed his doggy suitcase and left! Everybody say "aww" ;-)

2.23.2010 poor gus the goose, covered with snow and can't do anything about it

Raindrops falling on top of a garden storage box right outside my window during a particularly heavy downpour. I took a number of shots in burst mode and selected a few that had splashes relatively in focus.

These images were all fairly grainy; the downside of using a lens with f/5.6 aperture in very overcast conditions (i.e. poor lighting) and a reasonably fast shutter speed (required for capturing raindrop splashes without much motion blur) - it means the camera had to use a fairly high ISO setting to properly expose each frame. The upside was that I could take the shots through a window so I didn't have to get wet.

I bumped up the contrast a bit and increased the colour saturation a fair amount to produce some images that were - to me - visually pleasing.

Reds to the rights, Red to the left ;-)

Passing by on a bus with my most „stubborn“ ;-) prime lens I had no chance to get more into the shot.

Das Photo nahm ich aus einem Bus heraus mit meiner „eigensinnigsten“ ;-) Festbrennweite auf, keine Chance mehr ins Bild zu bringen.

The moment you realize that you're probably too close. A shot from the archives, taken a few months ago when it wasn't as fun to be hit by freezing water.

We spy a cow that cannot walk properly, then realise theres a field full of them that cannot walk. We spy their massive udders and lament the abuse of over milking.

A Walk Around Britain

They are lucky to be alive.

A good friend dug there nest up while digging post holes.

He moved the nest to a save place while being dived and bombard by mum and dad

They soon forgave him as he digging up some nice big worms.

While he put them on the side of the hole he was digging.

He hopes mum and dad and babies are doing well.

Good luck to the robins..

This Picture was taken in November in Oradea, Romania. I traveled from Switzerland to Oradea to bring clothes, food and more for the poor.

I found this trailer with those kids somewhere in a gypsy village and had to photograph them.

This picture is part of my Romania Reportage, where i assisted helping with giving clothes and food to people and photographing.
