Polymer clay inro in faux lapis lazuli and ivory, dragonfly ornament on cover. Ojime in faux lapis, netsuke in faux ivory. 2" wide and 3.5 " tall.
Layered ATC made completely of polymer clay and acrylic paint. Love letters and swirls texture the background. (You can see some scribbles at the top of the card.)

Now that American Crewel has kind of worked itself into my lexicon, it's time to start pounding out the pieces....

These get cured on a #10 knitting needle with the grommets in place. Then they get polished before they come off.
They're jelly bean sized.
This polymer clay spiral was an inspiration for many pieces. I used the silicone mold over and over again getting some fantastic results.

i love the shape of this box. a bit of a sharp learning curve for someone who hasnt really done anything other than jewellery but im really happy with this :) even though i managed to roll a scrap of silver leaf through with the black clay - hence the glittery bits.
I love to make bullseye canes, it never bores me ;)

Here's something new we are playing with in the polymer clay sandbox. These bracelets have a textural quality resembling heavy tapestry fabric. Shown are an example in a traditional straight-sided bangle and silhouetted bangle.
