An old warehouse along the Norfolk Southern Line running through Binghamton, New York. If you use your imagination, the architectural style is somewhat reminiscent of the Flat Iron Building in Manhattan.

(Wednesday, 12 May 2010) It was a dreary day in Upstate New York. Perfect excuse to brew some Spring Darjeeling from Adagio Teas.
My new puppy Quincy. Photographed with a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep Land Camera using Polaroid film that is a few years out of date.
This is the "Polaroid Swinger Model 20". It is from the line of popular and inexpensive "Swinger" Land Cameras produced by Polaroid from 1965 to 1970. Other models in the Swinger series included the Model M-15 "Swinger Sentinel" and the Model 3000 "Big Swinger".
With an initial price of $19.95 USD, the Polaroid Swinger was the first true affordable instant camera. The camera's low price and relative ease of use made it popular with the young adult demographic of the 1960s and 70s, resulting in million of units being sold.
The camera features a ridged all-plastic body, a plastic fixed focus single element lens, a single speed rotary shutter, a built-in flashgun for AG-1 flashbulbs, and exposure adjustment via a built-in photomemeter. The camera would have originally used Polaroid Type 20 series rollfilm, which was Polaroid's first instant film to develop outside of the camera.
Although the Swinger line of instant cameras only existed for 5 years during the mid-to-late 1960s, the concept of having an inexpensive instant camera with a ridged (non-folding), all-plastic body would be carried into the 1970s with the Colorpack, Square Shooter, and Super Shooter series of Land cameras.

No fancy camera or post production tricks here.My friend has a desk with an aqua glass top againt a bright green wall, so the wall reflected off the table and it looks like the camera if floating in green air.
I like things that have to do with what is real, elegant, well presented and without excessive style. In other words, just fine observation. Elliott Erwitt
