Ontario Northland GP83-2 1804 and GP-9 1601 wait in Moosonee to take the "Polar Bear Express" south to Cochrane. Train is on adjacent track. This train now includes baggage, express, chain cars for private vehicles and a couple of boxcars as it replaced the passenger portion of the "Little Bear" mixed and the summer time only excursion train.

Polar bears are not native to Iceland even though they travel from time to time to Iceland. Souvenir stores in Reykjavik, Iceland do take advantage of the popularity of polar bears to draw tourists in! On my last day in Reykjavik, I bought quite a few souvenirs and delicious Icelandic chocolates and snacks.
