This Polar Bear seems to share my attitude to life :) The Blue buckets contain ice, and the bears seem to have a lot of fun getting it out

I've been hiding here on flickr for just over a year now , and at last he who took my portrait stumbled on me hidden away in the black in the private section - so here I am let loose on the world at last !!

Not sure where I was even when the camera got pointed at me - hang on though , I know now -- it was the window of a travel agent advertising somewhere to go where it was very cold I think . I did the same gig the year previous I recall now and that bloke pointed the camera at me back then as well !!

This polar bear (Ursus maritmus) is nearing the end of his long walk along the Hudson Bay coast. He will arrive in the area where the sea ice forms and wait until it provides the opportunity to head out to hunt seals.

This polar bear at the Bronx Zoo looks like he's growling but he was actually yawning.

Inuit settlement in north-east Greenland, near Scoresby Sund. Mainly living by hunting seals, whales, muskox and polarbear. As you can see farming is impossible. No soil,no plants
