All members of the public are obliged to go through several rounds of pointless PCR testing, thus increasing the chances of cross-infection. "I don't know if the virus was controlled or not, but the public was definitely controlled", some quipped.
But sadly it's pointless saying something against it when someone has made up his mind to see things in a certain way.. no matter what you have been saying
...That pointless stroll we've been taking with my brother just after i got off the bus started to become very meaningful to me when i saw this statue of Don Quijote. As a fresh graduate who feels like his whole ideals about life had collapsed, who lost all his hopes about the future and who has just been discouraged and disappointed by women, i found all the inspiration i need in this man on his horse.
He was a lunetic dreamer. Yet he never gave up on his dreams and always stood up against whatever stands in his way. Even though attacking a windmill was seen a pointless act by others, he chose to attack it any way. Because he wasn't interested in the thing or person he challenged; his whole interest was about challenge itself.
Then i took this beautiful silhouette to remind me this every time i look at it:

It's pointless to think that when there are several lively and sociable creatures living at home besides myself, I could do my hobbies in peace. :) I was editing the pictures, and my little friends thought that they should get some treats. So I cooked them corn, and here Pilvi and Pyry are tasting it, Sumu pops in at the end. Patrik's "ghost" eventually covers the entire screen :D

# 18 For October: A month in 31 pictures
I hadn't intended to triple up on challenges today but it's been a very sad day and I just couldn't muster up the energy or inspiration for more photos.
Some of you will remember the photos and story of Mr Levi, the stray cat that I was fostering (photo in comments). Well, he and Podge, our 18 year old cat, just couldn't get along so my eldest son and his girlfriend adopted Levi. He was with them for two weeks and he had settled really well in his new home. They adored him and he them. Unfortunately this morning he suddenly became very unwell so they took him to the emergency vet. To cut a long story short he was a very sick boy and the kindest thing was to let him go. We are all devastated, he was such a lovely cat who after years of living as a stray, had finally found a loving home.
Even on a dull day the Network Rail IFA tilting point carriers make for an interesting consist.

This young buck lost one of his antler and the other one won't take long before it falls off. Not often I see this so that was exciting.
