Still green and on the plant. These large exotic pods with spikes hold numerous tiny flat seeds that resemble tomato seeds. This plant has fascinated me for the last 3 summers. I have a set with pix of this plant in all stages.
"eye've" just got to be me . . . playing around in photoshop with a simple shot taken on our porch . . . . . a branch of old pods!

This pod travels around the island. We saw them yesterday close up form the dive boat, they were jumping in its wake.

I tried to add just enough red to make it interesting. This build all started with the blue windshield. I like how the windshield is large enough to give a good view of the inside.

A macro shot of a plant. I loved the lighting on this and how the background fades to black and the smooth transition of blue/green.
I went a little nuts with my gocco. I drew these pods myself & went to town on almost every scrap of fabric I could find... These are only SOME of the fabrics I experimented on - I did some canvas & denim, but the print bled pretty badly & it looked like crap. The best ones were printed on wool felt & some pre-washed cotton fabrics.

Con las premisas de brindar una justicia más cercana, humana y transparente, el Magistrado Presidente del Honorable Tribunal Superior de Justicia del Estado de Puebla (HTSJP), Roberto Flores Toledano, entregó equipos de alta tecnología para juicios orales a los Juzgados Civiles de Huejotzingo y Cholula.
En el primer recorrido por los juzgados Primero y Segundo de lo Civil, encabezados por los jueces Roberto Antonio Mendoza Salmorán y María de los Ángeles Muñoz Cortés, Flores Toledano, hizo entrega de dos computadoras portátiles con cámaras de alta definición, un micrófono y un software para el desarrollo de juicios orales, con lo que afirmó, se seguirán dando pasos firmes en el nuevo sistema de justicia mexicano.
Añadió que con la entrega de recursos y la adecuada capacitación de los trabajadores al servicio del Poder Judicial, se abate el rezago y se brinda mayor certidumbre jurídica por medio de la transparencia.
En los Juzgados de Primer y Segundo Civil de San Pedro Cholula, encabezados por los jueces María Emma Peralta Juárez y Francisco Javier Pérez Castillo, respectivamente, recibieron otros dos paquetes de cómputo.

We were lucky enough to meet a small pod of Orcas, the instantly-recognisable killer whales, top predator of the oceans. This photo shows the whole group of five animals (one can be seen underwater)
Developing milkweed (Asclepias) seed pods (follicles) - Monarch butterflies (or rather their caterpillars) love to chew on these plants, so if you see the pods opening collect some seeds for your butterfly garden! Milkweed sap is a folk remedy used to remove warts and to treat Poison Ivy dermatitis. It is supposed to be used externally though and is toxic when ingested.
