My first proper mech. I liked the idea of a completely sealed cockpit as in the Evangelion series, so I went ahead and designed my own. The cockpit pod is removeable (see video), and both the hatch and the neck are sprung with elastic bands to make it a bit more tactile. Somewhat poseable legs, though it only has 2 positions it can stand in.
I have developed a building standard called "Alice-proof". This means that if placed in front of my flatmate Alice, it takes her longer than 90 seconds to break it. This is the first model in a long time that passed that test.
White acrylic "Pods". I'm working on a collection of these - hopefully around 40, to go together to form a structure for the bleached reef component of the Sydney Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef.

When the Podgun first came out some voiced concerns that it looked to much like the Needler from Halo. I would like to take this time to assure those doubters that there are many differences between this and the Needler. One thing I have noticed about this gun is that its hard to use this gun for anything aside from what it was meant to be, someday when I get a matching pair I will use them as crab claws.
Gostei mto dele, viu?

Artist team, Pedro Villalta and Montserrat Daubón created Giant Pod for the median just north of 124th Street on Lenox Avenue. The seed pod is a simple and elegant organic shape representing new growth and reflects the artistic revitalization of this Harlem neighborhood. Villalta and Daubón, who met at the Art Students League of New York, both live and work in Harlem. The artists view public art as a bridge – a tangible mode of community outreach that encourages reaction and interaction.
The large, hollow metal sculpture measures 10 feet high and is 3 feet at its widest diameter. It has been given a rough surface texture and is highlighted with bronze. The project is presented in partnership with the Mount Morris Park Community Association.

This image of a seed pod was taken last week while we still had a good covering of icy snow. I think it is a dogwood seed pod, but it might also be a magnolia. Both planted in that area.

Ripening wisteria seed pods hanging from the lanai. When those pods ripen, they split with a loud pop and fire a seed that hits the windows (etc) and sounds like pellet gun rounds.

Hmmmmm, do you think Apple buying up every ad space in the subways of NYC have anything to do with the new social malaise, I-POD MANIA? I just want the world to know that I had a first generation I-Pod, i.e. Before they were cool and before white head-phones grew out of everyone's head. I had an I-Pod before I moved to NYC. I had an I-Pod before I met Kenyatta--beautiful man who knows everything about technology and macs. I has an I-Pod before CD plebians and MP3 wannabes looked at me with curious confusion. I had an I-Pod before people stopped listening to their CD's. I had an I-Pod before they made a million add-ons like voice recorders and remote vibrators. I had an I-Pod before fashion designers created chic mink cases.
Yes world, hear my declaration! I loved you I-Pod when no one else would. I loved you when you were the new kid on the block. I loved you when you were still an unseasoned lover. I loved you when you would crash in the middle of a song. I loved you when white was plain-i opened myself to your white headphones. I took you in as you were. So why is that when I was so loyal to you - you decided to replicate yourself to the entire city of NYC!

This fun and colorful necklace is made from hand sculpted and painted polymer beads, all made by myself. Like all of my hand painted beads, they have been sealed with multiple coats of a durable, high quality varnish. It closes with a button toggle clasp made with metallic seed beads, which are also used as spacers throughout the necklace. It is all strung on waxed cotton cord.
Polymer Clay Necklace, ...autumn... I love this season with it's wonderful warm colors when the leaves are becoming red, yellow. This colors inspired me to make this necklace, each "pod" is covered with a coat of "velvet", hundreds of tiny clay crumbles.
Worn on a black sweater it looks great.

This configuration requires the use of a third reactor pod due to the massive power requirements of constantly using both cannon pods and the fighers standared guns. This configuration is only use in larger and more drawn out missions as opposed to the normal hit and run raids where the other pod setups are more effictive for their cost.
Just three camping pods on the site. As you can see it is quite remote. When you're inside, you can't see the other pods.
