The GCCA+ is hosting a regional climate change conference in Kigali, Rwanda, from 15-18 October 2019, bringing together climate change project managers, policy experts and decision makers to consider how and adaptation and ecosystem based approaches, sustainable landscapes, and systemic approaches to NDCs and climate finance could help to unlock growth and long-term development for African countries.
The objectives of this conference are to explore pressing issues that will impact the ability of African countries to achieve economic growth that is environmentally and socially inclusive and to showcase GCCA+ projects across the continent and in Rwanda, as well as promoting their learnings in a community of practice and informing ongoing strategic discussions around the delivery of EU funded climate assistance in Africa (and beyond).

In Pittsburgh. We immediately saw this and had to stop and get pierogies. Travis liked them, but I don't think the dough was anywhere near as good as it should have been. Too spongy.
Shot using Kodak E100G (one of my faves!) with the Yashica C. Developed at home using an Arista E6 processing kit.
The sun shot low between the trees in English Bay. I metered the grass so the shadows and colours would show. Holly shot the same subject, but metered the sun to get sharp silhouettes.

Nach dem grandiosen Erfolg der größten Studierendenparty des vergangenen Jahres war es nun endlich wieder soweit! Am 22. Mai 2024 fand das Studifest PLUS erneut in den Arkaden der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät am Universitätsplatz statt. Die legendäre Party ist eine gemeinsame Initiative der Österreichischen Hochschüler:innen Salzburg sowie der Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.

MSC Virtuosa is a Meraviglia-Plus-class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises. Constructed by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, Saint-Nazaire, France, she is the second ship in the Meraviglia-Plus class and sister ship to MSC Grandiosa. Originally scheduled to debut on 08/11/2020, her delivery and entry into service was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was delivered to MSC Cruises on 01/02/2021 and entered service in 05/2021. With a GTW 181,541 she can accommodate 4,842 passengers at double-occupancy and 6,334 at maximum capacity. She has a crew of 1,704. Costing €800 million in 2016, she was laid down on 27/02/2019, launched on 29/11/2019, and christened, on 27/11/2021, by Sophia Loren, the famous Italian actress. Registered in Malta, with a home port of Valletta, she is seen here in the Port of Cádiz, Spain, at what looks to be a recently constructed cruise berth, on 01/08/2023. Having departed from Southampton, on 29/07/2023, she was operating on a 14-night Spain and France cruise; Southampton - Cádiz - Málaga, Spain - Alicante, Spain - Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain - Toulon, France - Barcelona, Spain - La Coruna, Spain - Southampton, where she would arrive back on 12/08/2023.
This photo was taken from the starboard side, on P&O Cruises - MV Britannia - IMO: 9614036, when departing for Southampton, after arriving in the morning from Málaga, where she had departed from the early evening prior. She would arrive in Southampton in the morning of 04/08/2023.
MV Britannia was completed on 26/02/2015 by Fincantieri, Monfalcone, Italy. She was laid down on 15/05/2013, launched on 14/02/2014 and Christened by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth II, on 10/03/2015 with her maiden voyage on the 14/03/2015. She is from the Royal Class of cruise ships and is British registered in Southampton. She has a GTW of 143,730, has seventeen decks of which fourteen are passenger accessible giving a maximum passenger capacity of 3,647 and 1,398 crew. She is powered by Wärtsilä 12V46F x 2 & Wärtsilä 14V46F x 2 & propulsion electric motors - 2 x VEM Sachsenwerk GMBH and is capable of 21.9 knots and a cruising speed of around 19 knots.
