1 000 convives et plus d’un demi-million de dollars amassés pour la Société de recherche sur le cancer
Le jeudi 31 mai dernier marquait le 5e anniversaire du BBQ Urbain, le plus important événement de financement de la Société de recherche sur le cancer, présenté par la RBC Banque Royale. Sous la thématique de l’Argentine, le BBQ Urbain a permis d’amasser un montant net de plus d’un demi-million de dollars pour soutenir la recherche sur le cancer au pays, grâce à un record de participation de plus de 1 000 convives.

A Colorful and Flavorful 5th Anniversary for the Urban BBQ!
1 000 guests and over half a million dollars raised for the Cancer Research Society
Thursday May 31st, marked the 5th anniversary of the Urban BBQ, the Cancer Research Society’s most important fundraising event, presented by RBC Royal Bank. With Argentina as its main theme, the Urban BBQ raised a net amount of over half a million dollars to support cancer research in Canada, with a record-breaking attendance of more than 1,000 guests.

Die größte Studierendenparty Salzburgs
Nach dem grandiosen Erfolg der größten Studierendenparty des vergangenen Jahres war es nun endlich wieder soweit! Am 22. Mai 2024 fand das Studifest PLUS erneut in den Arkaden der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät am Universitätsplatz statt. Die legendäre Party ist eine gemeinsame Initiative der Österreichischen Hochschüler:innen Salzburg sowie der Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.

This is a relaxed portraiture of Jason. I was a little unsure whether 1/2 a second was reasonable, but he promised to hold still and it turned out. I am impressed at the lack of grain and the tones given that this was shot with 400 speed film. I will have to consider this again for future indoor portraiture without the assistance of flash.
