Made from one of my iris shots and a plugin that I found through hz536n. It's called Kaleidoscope 2.1 and I got it here. I think that's the one he's using, I found others too that I will try and play with.

Ever since I can remember I've loved kaleidoscopes. Who doesn't? This tool may become my new obsession.

The original of this is here.

Single exposure enhanced using Topaz Plugins and a great lesson. I need to shoot more mushrooms....macro in general.

More fun with Topaz Simplify.

I already have this one on my page as a regular picture, I wanted to try something different and used Lucisart.

Let me know what you think.

Had a try with the fractalius plugin on my cat.

On Sunday I was lucky enough to be invited by the Kaiser Chiefs to shoot them at the Hordern Pavilion. It was thanks from their web team for the access to the event manager provided they had access to the images for the official website (no problems with me :)). So much thanks to the band and the web site manager Neil Brackenridge. My first shoot at the Hordern definitely woke me from my luck to date at being able to shoot a whole gig. Getting used to the band and the lighting for just three songs certainly was a bigger test than usual, just hope people like some of these shots :) (and I can't describe how fun it was!)

Been using Photoshop for over a decade and of course Corel's software too. Since Adobes PS4 seemed a bit pricey, I finally tried using PaintShop Pro Photo X2 and I am happy I did. Finally got more knowledge regarding migrating 8bf Plug ins etc and it all works for me. I'm not turning easily but I have come to love using PSP and use it faster than I ever did PhotoShop (could be that I never used a wacom tablet earlier, or chroma key techniques for that matter). I have always been fond of manual editing, until recently after discovering a $300 plug in that is incredible for keying out solid color backgrounds such as the Green screen in my studio. Speaking of which, no need to purchase rolls of cloth or paper backgrounds for clients since I only will need my green screen and perfect lighting to create or swap out backgrounds easily. These three pictures combined here was not taken by me, instead they where included for tutorial use (post processed by me though). Some of them was very poor and with bad lighting in case anyone is wondering. As I'm sure you all know, posing to close to the Chroma key screen is a very bad idea. Its best to have a large studio and use a longer lens + have the model at least 8 feet away from the Chroma Screen, that and perfect lighting of cource ;o)

This was taken in Tribecca N.Y.C., two days before that day that we will never forget!!

The towers are in the right hand corner of the picture, the original photo was taken with a pinhole camera, I grew up in N.Y. and went to school in Manhattan and used to hang around the towers while they were just in the process of finishing the buildings.

The fridge in our hotel room in Amman had a European plug... and the wall outlet was a UK outlet... good thing we didn't need to refrigerate anything!
