Today I'm feeling hazy, lazy and well...a bit crazy.

The top of the spectacular Turning Torso, Malmö (Sweden).
The Turning Torso is the tallest skyscraper in the Nordic countries, situated in Malmö, Sweden, located on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait.
It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres.

Lady was reading a book in Crysler Hall.
The Doric columns of this imposing structure, each made from one great pine tree, were moved from the original site when Crysler Hall was taken down and reconstructed in Upper Canada Village. It was originally built by John Pliny Crysler, a timber merchant. He was the son of the John Crysler upon whose farm the Battle of Crysler's Farm, had been fought (part of the War of 1812).
Crysler Hall was built as a residence. The sweeping circular drive, cast iron fence and formal gardens all add to the dignity of this fine example of Greek revival architecture. It is not typical of most houses of the period, and would have been considered pompous by most residents. The gardens all emphasize the Victorian interest in flower gardens as part of the landscape, and complement the architecture of Crysler Hall.
The interior of Crysler Hall is modern, and contains exhibits related to Upper Canada Village and the history of the area.

Juyong Pass section of the great wall was ranked as the number one pass of the country in the Ming Dynasty. In ancient poems, people described the Juyong Pass as the most precipitous one that even birds couldn't fly across. This is where I climbed the great wall.

The main door to the cathedral.
The Church of St. Leodegar is the most important church and a landmark in the city. It was built in parts from 1633 to 1639 on the foundation of the Roman basilica which had burnt in 1633. This church was one of the few built north of the Alps during the Thirty Years War and one of the largest and art history rich churches of the German late renaissance period.

Approaching the municipality of Nyon with the Château de Nyon on the hill. The Castle is first mentioned in 1272, but probably dates back to the Lords of Prangins. It was rebuilt by Louis I of Savoy in 1463.
