The Word Porcupine Means 'Thorn Pig'

The English word for porcupines can be traced back about 600 years, when the animal was known as "porke despyne." The North American porcupine can live for 23 years and can have as many as 30,000 quills. Contrary to a longstanding myth, porcupines cannot eject their quills like arrows. Baby porcupines are known as porcupettes. They are born with soft, bendable quills that begin to harden within a few days after they are born.

Lion Rock

Hong Kong

Lion Rock or Lion Rock Hill, is a famous hill in Hong Kong. It is located between Kowloon Tong in Kowloon and Tai Wai in the New Territories, and is 495-metre high.

Lion Rock is famous for its shape and is visible from various places in Kowloon; its resemblance to a crouching lion is most striking from the Choi Hung and San Po Kong areas in East Kowloon. A trail wends its way up the forested hillside to the top, culminating atop the lion's head. The rock provides a beautiful view of the city and Hong Kong Island in the distance. The entire hill is located within Lion Rock Country Park in Hung Mui Kuk, Tai Wai and is made passable by vehicles by Lion Rock Tunnel, which connects Kowloon Tong and Tai Wai.

I want to say again, thank you so much for all my flickr friends. You all are the most supporting and inspiring people that I've ever had. I may not be good at writing but truely, I am thankful I have met ever single one of you and inspiring me. Thank you. and this is for you.

Whether you are happy today,

you are sad,

you had the bad day,

you are boring,

you are lonely,

you are depressed,

you are tired,

please stop for a second, and smile.

Because you deserve to be beautiful even for a while , after the long day.

and one of my fri asked me why then the model is not smiling ?

The model is not really a model, she's the life, life doesn't make you smile all the time, but she always give you a chance to smile sometimes. but it's our choice to smile or not to smile.

So, please.. <3

I 've created a page, so I will be grateful if you join <3<3<3 FACEBOOK PAGE

"All the world is a will to power"

Last sunday, very early, after being on the beach at Magoito, me and Kerstine decided to check out Sintra from the viewpoint to watch the cloud movement and try to predict fog (we have been waiting for days :)) Well, we had no fog but we watched a very impressive rain shower over the city of Cascais!

My award is your presence. Please don't leave badges, group images or invitations on my stream!!

Please do not throw things into these pools. Morning Glory Pool has been almost ruined with all the coins the garbage us humans have tossed into it. This is not Morning Glory Pool but I thought it might be appropriate to mention the problem.

I have always loved the colors in the geyser pools.

It’s with a heavy but simultaneously happy heart that we write this, the chapter of our sim Oakwood it’s now coming to an end but before this we felt strongly like thanking each and one of you who rented, visited, took pictures and gave us feedback.

Thank you for being part of our first-mini-estate adventure, I encourage you guys to visit if you haven’t! As it still have a few days left, the idea was to give tenants a land where only a few could live in a more introverted and exclusive way 🌿

So thank you for allowing us to share that with you all, may this also be the start of brand new things

Also do not worry our sim Driftwood it still up and running 👀
