A colourful Grand Central train photo-bombed this shot of Kings Cross but I think it made the photo. Kings Cross is now dominated by the huge 'Platform G' building.

TEM18 shunting locomotives are produced in Russia from 1992 y by the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant (JSC BMZ located in Bryansk, Russia; Брянский машиностроительный завод). Today more than 2000 were built in different modifications.
In later versions produced from 2004 (TEM18D) and 2007 yy (TEM18DM) it is equipped with improved 1-4PDD diesel, new cab and more.
The out of use back platform at Blayney Railway Station. The back platform served the currently out of service Cowra line. The station was restored in 2019 and still serves trains on the main Western line.
While the station opened in 1876 the main part of the building was built in 1889. Other buildings were added up to 1902. The whole complex is heritage listed.

This old depot in Charlotte County, Virginia is slowly but finally receiving a face lift. It's good to see a listing on the National Register undergoing architectural resuscitation. It was listed as the Keysville Railroad Station November 12, 2008, ID #08001050.
