A planting mini-parade through the streets of Fawkner to utilise new planter boxes built in conjunction with Urban Bush Carpenters. We were joined by Meghan Hopper, the Mayor of the City of Moreland, and our Federal MP Kelvin Thomson. Two beautiful songs performed by Fawkner women's choir at the Fawkner Community House.
This after photo shows the fire pit, seatwall with two prewired light pillars, and integrated planter boxes. The seatwall allows for additional seating and a windbreak for the fire pit. The planter boxes are filled with soil and ready for flowers or vegetables.
Our English Planters give a finishing touch to any outdoor setting. The slatted and removable bottoms allow for planting directly into the planter or for placing a pre-potted plant. Handcrafted of shorea hard wood, using mortise and tenon joinery, these planters will weather proudly for years to come.

My niece, Haley, invited some of her friends over for a pool party. Apparently some of them were clowning around behind the gazebo and someone fell on to (was pushed into?) one of the hop plants. The stake with the sisal twine was pulled out, which ripped the top six or ten inches off of several bines. This plant was already doing much more poorly than the other root ball that I got from my friend, George. Sigh...

I had some redwood 2x4s scrapes from another project. I made a planter box. Then I scattered a handful of wildflower seeds in the box. They should bloom in spring

Scanned into computer by an Epson V700, with the Epson software.
Poured concrete sundeck for patio chairs, Planter boxes and stone work with hot tub & fire pit.
Stamp- Random stone, has great texture.
Color- Cream beige with Terra Cotta Release.
Working on the other long wall for the planter box. Got to be pretty quick, but that first wall took me forever to figure out what the hell I was doing. By the time I finished this project I figured out the basics of it but wow. If I end up building a second box then I should be able to make it a bit nicer.
