I haven't told much about Electra since I got here because she was kind of the 'odd one out' in my doll family. But now that her brother is here, I figured it was time to tell a little bit about both of them.
They are pixies. Very odd ones. Electra was accidentally summoned by Persephone and the two became friends if only because they are both creepy weird little girls. Mischa came along looking for his sister, but she didn't want to leave, so now here they both are.
They're both very mysterious, and very very old. Nobody really knows anything about them. Mischa is even more mysterious than his little sister.
This is my cherishes sweet kitty-Pixie. She loves my craft table and thinks it is now her perch. I just cant tell her no!

This is Pixie, she is a 13" Pooki angel. Pixie's hair is a mix of 3 different yarns. Her eyes are grey.
Pixie comes with her very own wool filled linen fabric angel wings. She also comes with a warm sleeping bag and wool pillow. Her sleeping bag also doubles up as a drawstring bag so Pixie and her things can be kept safe.
This little Pixie was given to Millie by her brother Robert in 1974. It's been on all our Christmas trees since then.
This image was more involved than I expected. I simply wanted a quick photo record and not go nuts with it.. Snapshots gave dull, colors, wrong colors, shadows, and so on. I ended up setting up a 1000 watt light and large white gatorboard as a light source. But it was a bright day and bluish tone light from outside affected the color balance in a way that conflicted with the halogen. Not wanting to wait until nighttime, I had to cover the windows. The little guy posed perfectly still but I still needed a tripod. At least he smiles every time.

I gave my Exploit Boston! review ticket and photo pass to Shannon and Mike so the next best thing was this CD. Good times.

I have been hoping to make a cat card for the Cat Lovers Hop on the blog Her Peaceful Garden and I was finally able to do it today. I'm afraid I don't know how made this really cute cupcake paper because I only had a scrap of it but the kitty is by Paper Smooches and the saying is by Hero Arts. I used a scallop die to cut some white card stock that I had stamped on previously. My stamped image got smeared so I was going to throw it out but then I realized I could cut a scalloped circle out of it and repurpose the scrap.
