Pixie was created from the Marx Johnny West Pancho pony. Deb turned her head, added haired mane and tail and painted her to a lovely light grey mare.

Say hello to Pixie, my first Ellowyne Wilde OOAK. She is a Purple Rain doll, but has had her hair restyled (thanks to a little girl called Pixie and tidied up by her Mom's hairdresser friend LOL) and her eyes changed from blue to green (by me).

Not a drastic change I guess, but she suits me fine.

When I bought her I had intended to completely change her hair but when she arrived I loved it so much I left it as is. (thanks Joanne)

Deboxing the Classic Zarina Doll. First the front plastic is removed from the cardboard backing, to which the doll is attached by wires, rubber bands, thread, plastic restraints and plastic T-tabs.

The newly released 2014 Zarina 10'' Flutter Wing Doll, part of the Disney Fairies Classic Doll Collection, that I purchased from my local Disney Store. She is the title character of the upcoming Disney animated movie The Pirate Fairy. I will photograph her in detail, boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. I have already posted sneak peeks of her fully deboxed.

Pixie worked with year 2 to paint these beautiful laser cut sea creature shapes which now adorn their playground pagoda.

This shot was from March 8, as it just started blooming at Weymouth Woods. This species is endemic to the Sandhills; another is more widespread and lives in moister habitats nearer the coast.

(Thanks Julie! Best toy ever!)

Here are sisters, Pixie and Dixie, playing. We had them in foater care and they have since been adopted.

This one is too small.

One of the many knee hugger elves that adorn my tree. My goal next year is to have nothing but elves on my tree. This one was given to me by my Mom. She had it on her tree when she was little. I love it.
