This is Pixie, my baby duiker in South Africa. She was found, just a couple of days old, at the side of the road - we never found out what happened to her mother - and taken to a wildlife centre where she was hand-raised. I was lucky enough to care for her for three months and we formed an incredible bond - she still sees me as her mother now, even though she's all grown up with a baby of her own!

I have no idea what these pixies would be for. Perhaps to hang on the wall with matches or toothpicks in them? Who knows. They come from Japan, and where purchased off ebay about 10 years ago. I don't know about you, but I sure wouldnt want to meet this pack in a dark alley.. lol

The soft and delicate nature of this necklace makes me think of a periwinkle pixie traveling quietly through a marsh. She sends magic thoughts to the ground and awakens the plants that are waiting to grow.
A Victorian brass setting cradles a steampunk assemblage as it dangles from a golden leaf toggle. A muted blue enamel flower blooms above a delicate brass bow. The bow is accented with a small gear collage. A gorgeous slate blue crystal sparkles like a magic acorn above the leaf toggle.
