A Study in Blue and White
Princess Pix is still inspecting the works, here. With her longer wintertime coat, Pixie's normal spotty pattern becomes more muted. As some dogs age, they put on heavier coats, in order to expend less metabolic energy staying warm. As a puppy, her winter coat was quite short and sparse; today, many hairs are more than three inches (75mm) long and her undercoat is quite thick. She's still the supermodel (or Supermottle) for the Suburban Winter Camo pattern!
It's been three years till the lasts pics of Pixie... I found her so cute, but I'm no very good with BJD pics...

I have been toying around with the idea of a Pixie Shoe with a pointed toy for babies for quite a while now, and this is what I have come up with.
I just used some Linen scraps that I had floating around and it's worked out quite well (I think :-)
It's fully lined with all the interior seam hidden, so it's comfortable for a baby to wear.
I'll be trying out a few different fabrics, and maybe use one fabric for the lining and another co-ordinating fabric for the outer. I've also got a few ideas for screenprinting onto the fabric as well :-)
I might make larger sizes with non-slip soles in the future as well.
I might also add some sort of elasticised area at the back to help keep them on the feet more securely.
And yes, i think I will also try and make them in bigger sizes, for adults too!
